Lloret Del Mar, May 2013

Yes, I'm a little late posting this... Life has been full & busy with unpacking and getting ready for the newest addition to our family!  God is good!

We have already made a few little trips in and out of Germany (Luxembourg, France border, Berlin & various German cities), but in mid-May, we went on our first BIG trip!  To Spain!  After a long and uncomfortable bus ride (13+hrs), we finally arrived in Lloret Del Mar.  We stayed at the hotel Flamingo with a few friends, which was a just a two minute walk away from the beach and close to many great shops & restaurants (to include a WONDERFUL Spanish Steak house!).

 To the left is a picture of the front of our hotel, and to the right was a wrap from John Thomas (located right outside the hotel- perfect for a quick meal!

We spent two fun filled days at Lloret Del Mar and one day in Barcelona.  It was chilly and the sun was hiding most of the time, but that didn't stop us from playing around at the beach (and later on, husband went swimming!!!).

 This is the picture of the castle we hiked up to see (in one of the previous pictures, you can kind of see the castle.  It was located on the center of the other side of the beach... to the left of where my head is in the picture!).  

While in Barcelona we were able to see the Sagrada Familila (Cathedral of the Holy family), the Olympics Stadium (of 1992), and many other sites.  All-in-all, we had a wonderful & relaxing vacation in Spain!  I can't wait for our next trip!
